This week on Buy to build, we are in Sydney with a couple of blokes who want to buy an investment property together. They've got a decent budget but for one of them its the first time getting into property. So will emotions run high or will they think with their heads?
It's up to Walt to find out.
House 1
The first house on the list is the Bellevue from Simonds and this single story really impresses. It is light, bright and perfect for a young family. This house presents really well and whilst it looks humble from the outside- it's a real winner on the inside.
House 2
Cory and Mike have quite differing opinions on what makes the perfect investment property. This beautiful single story house is the Sienna from Hudson Homes and really delivers an upmarket and expensive feel- but it's affordable.
House 3
House number three was a real curve ball from Walt- it held itself with a hint of the Hamptons. The Harmony Exclusive really has wow factor with open plan living and a stunning layout. But is it more a family home than an investment?

Land release 1
About 40 minutes from Sydney towards the western growth corridor is a stunning land development called Willowdale. So many parks, open lands, walking tracks and so much shopping! This was a fantastic community to visit and there are lots still available.
Land release 2
Elara is in the North West of Sydney in Marsden Park, which is super close to the important freeways, transport and shops. It's a vibrant community with sporting facilities, schools and varying lot sizes. Elara really struck a chord with Walt.
Hot land tip
This week's hot tip for land is north of Brisbane and a stunning development called Newport. Stunning lakes, varying lots sizes and amenities galore.
